There has never been a time in my life when I treasure family photos more than I do right now! Now that I have my own family, I realize just how precious photos of me, James, and the boys truly are. Life speeds by so quickly with little ones, as they seem to change from babies to big kids overnight, which makes capturing those fleeting moments that much more precious to me.

That is why this year I have decided to offer a limited amount of family sessions each month, in addition to my weddings and engagement sessions. I scaled back on family sessions a few of years ago when things were just too hectic and I was trying to learn how to function in a new stage of life (moving across the country, super sick while pregnant, having a baby, etc.). I’m happy to say that two kids later, we are now in a new ebb and flow where I’ve been able to re-focus on my photography business and assess what areas I am most passionate about. :-) If you are interested in scheduling a family session this year, shoot me an email (jenna@jenna-davis.com) for more details.

Now, on to the real reason for this post… a super sweet, incredibly awesome family! This trio are dear friends of ours and I am so excited for the new addition they will be adding to their family very soon! They have decided to wait to find out the gender of this new baby, which makes the arrival all the more exciting. We didn’t find out with Joshua either and it was seriously the best surprise ever!!! I think these images capture such a special time as they close out being a family of three and move on to being a family of four. Also, Rachel is one gorgeous pregnant lady, am I right?!?
