Here’s how April went for us in a nutshell… Returned home from Haiti, found out there’s a possibility of thyroid cancer for James, had surgery to remove 1/2 of thyroid, waited patiently for news, found out there was no cancer (yay!), worked on recovering and being able to sing again…

Needless to say, it’s been kind of a crazy/stressful month. In the big scheme of things, it was nothing we couldn’t handle with God’s help, but it definitely wasn’t the most fun month we’ve ever had! We are happy that most of this is behind us now (he’s still working on recovering his pre-surgery singing voice) and we are definitely looking forward to what May will bring (we know it’s at least bringing my birthday). ;-)

My goal in my 2 x 12 Project was for each month’s picture to describe what went on in our lives that month. I feel like this one does it well…
