I can’t believe another month has flown by. Like, I-had-to-look-at-my-calendar-to-remember-what-all-happened-this-month-it-passed-by-so-quickly kind of flown by! We are now officially at the end of summer and while I admit I’m looking forward to a little bit cooler temps (not too cool though), I’m definitely sad that another summer has come and gone.

August marked the start of new chapter in our lives (well, mainly James’ life, but also mine because I am the official paper editor) as he began grad school. He’s super excited to go back to school to get his Masters degree, and let’s just say there’s been a lot more reading going on in our house than there has been in a looooong time… ;-) Between his books for class, the book we’re reading together, and my mystery novels, you’d think we’re regular ‘ol book worms.

In addition to James starting class, this month I got to go to King’s Island, we started meeting with a small group from church, shot 3 weddings, got to hang out with some awesome photographer friends, saw a couple of our friends’ bands in concert, and spent a good amount of time outside relishing in the lovely weather.

This month’s 2 x 12 picture shows off our, let’s call it, “scholarly side.”
