September has been the craziest month I’ve had in a looooong time (in a good way). I spent half of the days this month out of town, between Michigan, Chicago, California, and Cincinnati. As I look over the events of this month I realize just how much has been accomplished in such a short time and I feel good. :-) Three weddings, several portrait sessions, time spent with extended family, the beginnings of new friendships started, and jumping back in as a youth sponsor at church as a new season gets underway.

Earlier this month James and I shot Meghan and Matt’s wedding in Traverse City, MI. Traverse City just happens to be the town that James grew up in, so I thought it appropriate that this month’s 2 x 12 Project picture take place there… P.S.- Please don’t mind the crazy hair I was having that day… it was drizzling. ;-)

As I look ahead at my calendar for October I realize that it has the potential to be just as crazy, but I’m so thankful for all of the opportunities that make up that “craziness.” :-) BRING IT ON OCTOBER!!
