Our 3×12 personal photo project is now caught up with today’s posting! March was a great month for us because we not only got to celebrate some fun things as a family, but my “morning” sickness also started to slow down! It’s amazing how much more you feel like doing when you are not constantly nauseous and throwing up. :-)
We started off the month by sharing our pregnancy news with the rest of our family and friends that did not already know. Just a few days later we took a mini-vacation to Hilton Head to kick off the festivities for Jack’s 2nd birthday. We officially celebrated his birthday with a little party that weekend.
A few other fun things from March…
-Finally got to go on a Date Night since I started feeling better! James agreed to go see the new Cinderella movie with me at the theater. What a nice hubby! It was on this date night that we settled on our name(s) for the new baby! Since we are not finding out the gender beforehand, we had double duty of deciding both a boy name and a girl name. :-) We are keeping that decision a secret until baby Davis #2 is born later this summer though!
-We got to walk in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in downtown Savannah! If you are not a local, you may not be aware that St. Patty’s Day is BIG deal in Savannah. People from all over come into town to celebrate this holiday and our city makes quite a big deal out of it (the fountain at Forsyth Park is even dyed green). This year we had the opportunity to walk with our church in the parade and it was SO much fun! We had a float with one of our worship bands playing on it and a huge group of people showed up to walk with us. Can’t wait to do it again!
-I shot an engagement session with Kelsey & Kyle in downtown Savannah. What started as a rainy day ended up making for a great shoot!
