May was a big month for me, primarily because I celebrated my 30th birthday! I always thought that once you are in your thirties you are really starting to get old– ha ha! We kept things low-key this year by going to the beach and eating at one of my favorite beachside grilles. It was my kind of fun. :-)

Some other happenings from May…

• Had friends from Indiana come for a visit and showed them around town.
• Hit up a LOT of yard sales. I may or may not be obsessed.
• Celebrated my 3rd Mother’s Day
• Shot Nicole and Ben’s wedding in downtown Savannah
• Grilled out, went to library story times and playdates, and took Jack to his first movie at our church’s Family Movie Night.
• Last but not least, our neighborhood pool opened at the beginning of the month and we enjoyed ourselves up there quite a bit! Jack is really loving the water this year and we’ve started working with him on his swim skills. It’s a good thing we have access to the pool this summer because it is already helping us out with beating the extreme HEAT down here!
