Yesterday James and I were invited to go 4-wheelin’ with some friends of ours from church. While we had both ridden 4-wheelers before, we had never really done much trail riding. When we first got on the trails I immediately thought, “What in the world did I get myself into???” We were literally riding on the edge of a cliff, tilting to the side as if I might topple over at any minute. I drove my 4-wheeler over things that only a monster truck should have been able to tackle, and yet somehow I made it. We rode across creeks, through open fields, and climbed steep hillsides. (Ok, so I actually climbed the super-steep hillside on foot, but you get the picture). Once I got over my initial scaredy-catness I had so much fun! Here are some shots from the day…
I mean, obviously this look totally works for me. Right?
This is the look James gives me when he’s like, “Really? You want my picture now?” I love it.
“Look at me, Mom!”
Our friend, Grant, is mighty good at riding dirt bikes. Just sayin’…
Grant’s dad is an awesome dirt biker (is that a term?) as well!

Great pics! Looks like too much fun. I’m jealous.
Grant is such a professional… you need an outfit like his. :)
Thanks Jim!
And Gretchen– I totally agree. Maybe I’ll get an outfit from Santa this year… :-)
I LOVE the pictures. Thanks so much for sharing both the day and your photographs with us!
Jenna, this is Annie from Sunman, where is this place Larry and I are always looking for new places to ride.
Hey Annie! The property actually belongs to some extended family of the family that we went riding with. It’s in the Greensburg area.
