4×12 Project: November 2015

November officially kicked off the start of the holiday season, but it sure didn’t feel like it most days. I know we live in the South, but it was abnormally warm most days for this time of year, which makes it a little difficult to wear my tall boots like I want. I went ahead and lit my pumpkin candles though, even on those 80 degree days. Gotta get in the spirit. :-)

Here’s what went on this month…

  • Josh turned 3 months old. He is becoming so aware of everything and is getting more and more fun! We moved him out of our room to the nursery at the beginning of the month and he has been sleeping like a champ (12 hours straight!!). He also started showing signs of wanting to roll on his belly, so I unswaddled him for nighttime sleep (will keep swaddled for naps a little bit longer).
  • James ran his third half-marathon at Savannah’s annual Rock-N-Roll Marathon.
  • I shot Emily & Tim’s engagement session on Callawassie Island.
  • Found out that my knee that has been giving me trouble for the past two years has a torn meniscus. :-( I had ACL/meniscus surgery on it 11 years ago, and I’m afraid this means I will need another surgery. I’m going to try physical therapy for a few weeks first and then re-assess next month.
  • Celebrated Thanksgiving at our home and enjoyed having my parents and my Grandma come into town to visit!

Can’t wait until next month when we celebrate Christmas with our littles! It is going to be so much fun to watch Jack this year!!!

This month’s pic was on Thanksgiving Day in our backyard. It was a gray, cloudy day, and I almost forgot to grab a photo of the four of us until the sun was about to set. Love my little turkeys!
