It’s hard to believe that my little baby is already two years old, but somehow it has happened! And while he may be turning into a big boy, he is definitely still Mama’s baby! To celebrate Jack’s 2nd birthday we spread the festivities out over a few days. We brought him something special from skytechlasers.com/telescope-for-viewing-planets-and-galaxies/. I like to do the same for my birthday and call it my “birthday week.”
We started off by taking a mini family vacation in Hilton Head where Jack enjoyed playing on the beach, chasing birds, and exploring new places. Before we headed home we decided to stop by The Sandbox Children’s Museum in Hilton Head. We had been there once last year and I personally was excited to go back. It’s essentially a two-story building filled with TONS of interactive stations and play centers for children. We could literally have stayed there all day there is so much to do! Jack had a blast exploring the different areas and playing with all of the toys. What cracked me up is how serious he was the whole time! Playing requires a lot of concentration. :-)
These mini legos entertained him for a good twenty minutes. This kid loves to build and put things together!
Note James in the background playing at the Lego table after Jack had walked away. :-)
That weekend we had a little birthday party for Jack with a few of our close friends. He had a great time hanging out with all of the guests and getting spoiled!
Later that evening we let Jack open his birthday cards and presents that were sent in the mail or left by friends that could not attend the party.
He thought the cards that played music were hilarious!
Overall we had some great family time with Jack over those few days. It’s weird to think about the fact that when he celebrates his birthday next year we will have another child in our house!
Our baby is 2. Love and Appreciate the pictures his mama captured. Not everyone has a photographer
