It’s been a while since I’ve done a “favorite things” post, but I’ve had a few things in my mind for a while now, so here we go in no particular order!
1) My Nike flip flops: Ok, so this may sound somewhat lame at first, but I’m in love… with my new flip flops. I bought them on sale for $20 at Kohl’s before I went to Spirit Song at King’s Island for 3 days earlier this summer. Those who know me well can tell you that I am a pretty cheap shopper, so 20 buckaroos was actually pushing it a little bit for me to spend on a pair of flip flops. I really did not want to wear tennis shoes and socks on the trip because my feet get so hot during the summer, but I knew any of my other flip flops would be uncomfortable. These are seriously the most comfortable pair of flip flops I have ever worn and I’m pretty sure I’ve worn them just about ever day this summer. And NO, I’m not getting paid by Nike to advertise as some of you probably assumed since I am a professional athlete and all… sike. ;-)
2) 4-Wheelin’: If you saw this post, you’ll understand why it’s on my list this month.
3) Shoot Q: Shoot Q is AMAZING. It’s basically an online management software for photographers that allows you to keep track of clients, new inquiries, and sign contracts online! I can’t say enough about how this service has saved me SO much time and allowed me to run my business much more efficiently. If you’re a photographer using Excel or post its try try to keep up with everything, I encourage you to give it a try for one month free!
4) My Cats: What’s to say? They are just way too cute! And they keep me company all day long while I’m working in the office. :-)
5) It’s almost fall!: I get sooooo excited every time it gets close to a season change! Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE summer, but this one has been particularly hot. This week temps have been cooler here in Indy and I’ve had a nice breeze coming through the open windows each day. I can literally smell fall in the air. What? You don’t think fall has a smell? Well, it does. I am super excited for this season for many reasons: cooler temps, fall decorations, hay rides, pumpkin carving, corn mazes, apple cider, cinnamon and pumpkin candles, and watching the Colts win everything. Since I would be jumping the gun just a bit carving a pumpkin right now, I chose a picture of the pumpkin that my husband so beautifully carved last year!
Have a nice weekend!
