One project that I’ve had on my to-do list during the winter slow season was to redesign my website. I was pretty happy with what I had created last year through SHOWIT, the company that I used to make my site (read more about them here), and the design served me well for that year. As my business has grown and my brand has developed I began to think of ways for the site to better serve my purposes, define my style, and be more user friendly.

The biggest change I wanted to make was to divide the site in two and have one part just for weddings and one part just for lifestyle (portraits). I wanted to keep the same overall colors and feel to the site, but brush it up a bit. I love a clean, modern feel, so that is what I strived for in this redesign.
