Kristen and Tom’s wedding was unlike any other wedding we’ve ever shot– in a good way. This was mainly because it started at 9:00 am! You see, Kristen and Tom met while in school at Notre Dame. They love their alma mater and the memories they shared there so much, that they wanted to get married in the Basilica on Notre Dame’s campus. The Basilica just happens to be a very popular place for weddings– popular as in, there were SEVERAL weddings there that day!

The wedding party got ready at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel, where we all came back to later in the day for the reception…

Kristen’s “something old” and “something blue” was pinned underneath her dress– a piece of her grandmother’s wedding dress! See that blue safety pin?? That pin used to hold Tom’s diapers together!! Awwwww…. :-)

Kristen looked absolutely breathtaking…

Meanwhile, James was hanging out with the guys…

The Basilica is just BEAUTIFUL.

The flower girl kept herself entertained during the ceremony. :-)

Since the ceremony was so early in the day, we did all of the bridal party and bride + groom pictures afterwards. Going outside (weather permitting) for formal portraits is always a great option to get some awesome natural lighting!

We walked around the campus with Kristen and Tom for a while, stopping at some of their favorite spots along the way…

Kristen and Tom’s reception was so much fun! It was one of those where EVERYONE was dancing the whole time!
