I get so excited for every wedding that I shoot, but I must say, shooting a wedding for a good friend was even more exciting than usual! Here’s a little history: Cristina and I have been friends since freshman year of high school. Not only that, but her family took a chance on me when I was first starting out in photography by asking me to shoot her brother’s wedding in 2009. At that point I had 2nd shot several weddings, but that was my first as the lead photographer. Needless to say, I am very thankful to them. :-)

Cristina has always been into fashion, so I had high expectations for her dress which were immediately fulfilled upon seeing it. :-)

The weather could not have been more perfect for an October wedding…

I looked over during the ceremony and saw this. Couldn’t help but laugh…

I may or may not have had to do the “dougie” on the dance floor. I couldn’t help it. My friends from high school were there and it was like a Homecoming dance reunion. :-)
