So I realize that today is officially March, but my body is functioning in slow motion from trying to get back to my normal sleep schedule, so please forgive me for this post missing the mark by one day. :-) I totally had planned in my head for months that we would do our February 2 x 12 Project photo while we were in Vegas, but it wasn’t until I got home that I realized I forgot! We stayed so busy the whole time we were there that it completely slipped my mind. Soooo we went outside last night in the gorgeous 60 degree weather (is this really winter??) with golden sunlight streaming down to take a photo that I think perfectly encapsulates our month…

For starters, we’ve had a ridiculously mild winter (and I am sooo not complaining). I mean, I would have liked one good snow that lasted 3-4 days and made for some good pictures, but I’m totally ok with skipping over the super cold temps that we usually get this time of year. Our big event this month was going to Las Vegas last week and getting to hang out with some of the most awesome photographers in the industry! You can see more from that trip here. Beyond that, we celebrated 7 years of “dating” this month, hung out with several different friend groups, I got to go to the David Crowder concert + question & answer session beforehand (James was in class), we celebrated the Superbowl with friends and I got to attend the festivities for it in downtown Indy (James was doing homework), AND I found out I won the wedding photo contest with Wedding Day Magazine!

I’m looking forward to what next month brings, and I’m especially looking forward to busting out my Spring wardrobe hopefully very soon! I mean, I love boots and all, but my feet are begging me for flip flops…
