I may be a little late getting our 2×12 Project photo posted for the month of March, but better late than never, right?

I think this month’s photo shows exactly what we spent a lot of time doing in March– being outside!!! I remember a March just a few years back when we had a BLIZZARD, so this year sure was a far cry from that. When I visited my chiropractor the other week he said, “Now maybe people will pay attention when they hear about global warming!” Lol.

We never really used to sit on our front porch much (usually always on the back deck), but we decided to give it a try recently, and we definitely like it. Yes, we totally feel like an old couple as we chat about our day and watch the cars that pass, but I’m ok with that. Now we just need some rocking chairs and a humming bird feeder and we’ll be all set. ;-)

In the month of March we ate a lot of our meals outside, made a “walking path” around the outskirts of the field and the street behind us to get some extra exercise, started using our Best Hikes Near Indianapolis book to explore a new hiking trail (our goal is to conquer many more this summer), I shot my first wedding and engagement session of the year, went to Chicago for The Fix tour, served in a local shelter with our small group, housed some kids from a traveling choir that sung at our church, had fun at the annual church auction (and got some cool items), enjoyed the sun setting an hour later thanks to Daylight Savings time, and last but not least, GOT OUR TAXES DONE!!! :-)
