I got into wedding photography in the first place by second shooting for another photographer, and it was there I learned that I love shooting weddings! I don’t have time to do second shooting so much anymore, but when I do I really enjoy it, as it gives me a chance to see things in a different way and not have all of the pressure on me. :-)

Recently I had the opportunity to second shoot for my friend, Lauren, of Lauren Wakefield Photography. I’ve enjoyed getting to know her over the past year or so and it was so fun to shoot with her for the day! We worked with a super sweet couple, Jill and Justin, who got married in an awesome barn with SO many fun details. Being the second shooter meant that I go to work with the guys as they were getting ready, which just about never happens, as I’m usually always with the bride. It was fun to switch roles and see how guys prepare for a wedding versus girls!
