I’m going to go ahead and have to say that May was a pretty fun month. I definitely felt the craziness of shooting season start to kick in, but enjoyed every bit of it with the gorgeous weather we’ve had!
Here’s a look at what I did in May:
- Shot Isabelle and Pete’s gorgeous wedding, as well as a bunch of sessions
- Went to two great photography workshops and led a shoot-out group
- Celebrated my 27th birthday with a trip to see some big cats and ride horses :-)
- Had a nice visit with my parents to celebrate my bday and my mom’s bday
- Experienced the awesomeness of two friends giving birth to their 2nd babies, and being able to see the babies right after they were born
- Celebrated another friend’s baby shower
- Went to the racetrack (Indy car) for the first time when James led worship for the drivers and families at The Night Before the Indy 500
- Went boating with family on Memorial Day Weekend
- Got a mouth guard to wear at night so I will stop clenching my jaw while I sleep (never thought I’d type that line, but it makes me a lot cooler, right?)
And last but not least, we
finally planted flowers and even a few tomato plants (hence our
2×12 Project photo for this month)!!! We had NO clue what we were doing, but luckily we have several friends and neighbors that are expert gardeners and helped us out. :-)
On to June we go!
