Last week James and I took a few days to get away and relax with friends by camping at Patoka Lake. We had never been to that particular park before, but really enjoyed our time there! The poor cell phone reception wouldn’t have even bothered me if it weren’t for the fact that my email decided to go down while we were gone. Figures! Luckily there was fairly good signal right in the middle of the lake and I was eventually able to fix the problem. Thank goodness!

We spent our time hanging out at the campsite, boating, swimming, biking, fishing, and hiking. We also took one whole day to drive over to Holiday World, which neither of us had ever been to before. The laughs had with friends and break from work was TOTALLY worth the bugs and push-button showers. :-)

I used my Canon Rebel XS, my Panasonic Lumix LX 5, and the phone on my camera to take pictures throughout the week with. I don’t like to take the “big guns” when I go camping just in case something were to happen… Thanks to Sara and Shelby for grabbing a few of these shots. :-)
