Those of you who follow my blog regularly may have noticed that I didn’t post a 2×12 Project photo for the past couple of months. No, I didn’t forget (although I definitely do have pregnancy brain and feel like I have amnesia), but I decided to hold off on posting since they both had to do with the baby and we hadn’t made our “official” announcement yet. :-)

Now that the news is out, here’s what went on in August and September…

AUGUST

• We spent the month being excited, yet still nervous about the pregnancy, and worked hard to keep it a secret. :-)
• Shot Sarah + KC’s Wedding and got to catch up with several of my high school friends
• Moved out of my studio (or should I say James moved out of my studio– I was at home, sick); Once we found out I was pregnant we decided this was the best decision since I am going to be cutting waaaay back on my work next year.
• Went to a Worship Retreat at Camp Allendale that James put together for our church’s worship department (only got to stay for part of one day because once again, I was not feeling well)
• If I’m really being honest, I pretty much spent all of August being SUPER sick. I’ll talk more about this in a future post, but because I was so miserable, I really didn’t get to do too much this month. :-(

SEPTEMBER

• Shared the news of our pregnancy with our family and close friends
• Shot Jesseca + Adam’s wedding, as well as a few sessions
• Went to Atlanta to visit my Grannie while James attended a worship conference there
• Traveled to Columbus, OH and got to meet one of my best friend’s brand new baby boy!!!
• Did my first “Fallish” thing of the season and went to Kelsay Farms
• My belly started to show, which James liked to point out to all of our family and friends :-)
• Once again, I spent most of the month being sick. Things definitely began to improve a little around week 14, but it was still pretty rough.

I’m really excited about what all is to come in October because I finally get to bust out the Fall wardrobe and wear boots!! I’m also looking forward to engagement sessions with the changing leaves, pumpkin candles, apple cider, and hopefully being less sick! :-)
