It feels like it’s been so long since I’ve done a blog post (even though it’s only been a couple of weeks), but I guess that’s what happens when you have a baby! Jack James Davis was born on March 5 and came in at 7 lb., 12 oz. and 19.5 in. long! We are both doing great and appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers we’ve received during this exciting time!

I will definitely be sharing more about Jack and what’s been going on over the past 2 weeks, but for now I just wanted share a little before and after photo action. We took the photo on the left when I was 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Just 4 hours later my water broke at home and we quickly gathered our things to head to the hospital! Jack was born 13 hours later. I’m SO glad we took the time to grab that photo!!

Jack is two weeks old now (time feels like it’s FLYING by), and although I was hoping for the same lighting conditions as the first photo (evening sunset), we went ahead and took the photo on the right last night to make sure we got it before he gets too big! Baby boy is doing great, and as I like to say (because it’s fun to say), he’s growing like a weed!
