Check. Check. Is this thing on?? Did you read the title to this post??? You heard me right– one lucky couple is going to win FREE wedding photography by yours truly for their 2011 wedding!! Why am I doing this you ask? Well, to be honest, I love contests. I love entering contests and I love the excitement of finding out who has one a contest. When I was in high school I entered a contest in Macy’s to win a free Prom dress… and I won. I could pick any dress from the store up to $200! I’m pretty sure that’s the best thing I’ve ever won.

I’ve had this idea running through my mind for the past several weeks and I couldn’t stop thinking how exciting it would be for a bride and groom to win free wedding photography. I want to bless a deserving couple. I’ve never done a contest like this before, so I am really looking forward to how this turns out. Here’s how the entry process will work:

-If you are a bride or groom getting married in 2011 (new inquiries only) you must send an email to jenna@jennadavisphotography.com with the subject “Wedding Photography Giveaway”

-In the email tell me your names, where you are from, wedding date, venues (including city and state), and any other special details that I should know about your big day

-Most importantly of all, include your LOVE STORY. How you met, who asked who out first, how you got engaged, etc. Tell me why you think you deserve to win.

-Include a recent picture of the two of you that you don’t mind being posted on the blog if you are the winner.

The winning bride and groom will receive:

• Up to 8 hours of wedding day photography
• 2 photographers on wedding day
• A high-resolution disk with your edited images and personal printing rights
• Personal wedding website sharing your story, wedding details, and wedding pictures

Wedding location can be ANYWHERE. Literally. In the world. But please note that for all locations outside the greater Indianapolis region, travel expenses must be provided by winning couple. If you have questions as to what the travel costs would be to your wedding location, please include that in your email.

Entries must be received by Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 12 pm. I will announce the winner right here on the blog on Wednesday, September 15, 2010. I will also be giving away a special discount to everyone who enters the contest and does not win. You have to enter though in order for it to apply! You’ll receive an email after the winner is announced.

*In order to win, I must be available on your date and you must have your venue(s) booked. Upgrades may be purchased in the form of additional hours, engagement session, rehearsal coverage, prints, albums, etc..
