Christmas this year was such a fun one in our family! The boys are at ages that just made everything so exciting and this is the first year that Jack truly understood the real meaning of Christmas with the birth of Jesus. We had a low-key celebration at our house which was perfect. My Dad came in town to spend a few days with us (my Mom stayed with her parents who are not in great health), so the boys had a blast playing with Grandad. I sang in the choir at church that James put together for the weekend, so he and I were at church for both Christmas Eve services and the Christmas morning service. We made and decorated Christmas cookies, rode the golf cart around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights, listened to Christmas music, opened presents, and enjoyed lots of yummy food– a great time was had by all!
