I met Cristina my freshman year of high school when we were assigned to the same homeroom. She was beautiful, reserved, and had the prettiest curly hair I’d ever seen! We’ve stayed friends since then, and I was so excited when she called me to tell me that she was engaged and wanted me to photograph her wedding! It means a lot because her brother’s wedding was the first wedding that I photographed as a lead photographer just a couple of years ago.

As I’ve gotten to know Phil since he and Cristina started dating, I can’t help but notice just how loving he is to her. He makes her laugh, supports her, and is just a genuine guy. I can tell that they are so excited to get their lives started together as a married couple and I can’t wait to see the plans God has laid out for their future!

I’ve always known Cristina to have a little bit of sass in her and this just proves it. ;-)

Cristina (and her two sisters) have always had the best sense of style! Makes me wish I had sisters to share clothes with!

So there’s a little story behind the bikes… Cristina and I originally threw around the idea of them riding on a tandem bike for their session. That was before any of us knew what it was actually like to ride on a tandem bike! James and I gave the tandem bike a try before we met up with Cristina and Phil, and then found ourselves switching to two separate bikes about 10 minutes and 5 near-death collisions later. ;-)
