The day was perfect. After weeks of rain and stormy skies, the sun was shining and the house was filled with loved ones ready to celebrate the wedding of Kristin and Andy. The festivities took place on a gorgeous estate belonging to Kristin’s aunt and uncle.

Kristin and Andy are some of the most fun, genuine people I’ve ever met! Their love for each other is beyond apparent, and their love for their “baby” Milo is just way too cute. :-) We had the best time hanging out with them in Chicago for their engagement session, and even more fun last weekend at this awesome celebration…

Kristin looking beyond stunning in her wedding gown. So stunning, that it was incredibly hard for me to choose my favorite bridal portraits to share… finally I had to close my eyes and point. Ok, not really, but it took me FOREVER to decide!

One of Andy’s cuff links had a map of where he is from and the other from where Kristin is from. HOW COOL IS THAT??

Andy had the BEST reaction to seeing Kristin for the first time…

I loved it that Milo traveled from Chicago to be with his parents on their big day. :-)

As you can see, it would be incredibly difficult to take a bad shot of these guys…

Since Andy and Kristin chose to do a first look before the ceremony we had SO much time to get shots with just the two of them, the bridal party, and the family before the ceremony!

Kristin and Andy’s wedding had so many fun details to it… see those pinwheels the bridesmaids are carrying? Andy MADE those, as well as the mini pinwheels on the guy’s jackets!

As the guests were arriving, Kristin was upstairs in the house watching to see what was going on. This is one of my favorite shots from the day.

Another cool detail: As Kristin’s father walked her down the aisle, Andy played the guitar and his brother played the keyboard.

Milo had a great seat in the front row to watch the ceremony!

The reception was held in a barn and a tent that was connected to it. Jen from Your Wedding by Jen did an amazing job bringing the decor to life!

For their first dance, Andy surprised Kristin by hiring a quartet (dressed like the caterers to blend in) to sing! She was quite surprised and needless to say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Andy– you get major bonus points for this one!!

FYI- Dancing in a barn is so much fun!

Andy and Kristin, I can’t thank you guys enough for having us be a part of your special day. You guys are amazing!
