Just over a week ago James and I had the pleasure of photographing Amy and Aaron’s wedding. The warm weather was a stark contrast to their engagement session! The day started off with the girls getting ready at a beautiful old home in Crawfordsville… check out those shoes!! :-)
I love veils (wore one at my own wedding), but I also thinks it’s super cool when brides go with a fun hair accessory like Amy did!
Love this shot James captured while Aaron was getting ready…
James was on his best behavior while hanging out with the groom. He is, after all, a police officer. ;-)
I would have never thought of it myself, but the combination of gray/silver with bright flowers is GORGEOUS!!
The flower girl, who just happens to be Aaron’s daughter and now Amy’s step-daughter, had to test out the bridesmaid’s heels. I’d say she did a lot better walking in them than I could have!
Amy and Aaron opted to see each other before the ceremony, as well as take all of the bridal party and family portraits beforehand so that they could head straight to their reception after the ceremony. It was a good thing because it started raining almost immediately after the ceremony ended!
It never gets old seeing the groom’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time. :-)
Kinda like this a lot…
The ceremony was held at the General Lew Wallace Study and Museum. I love places with some history to them!
These two were so cute together. :-)
The ring bearer spotted me during the ceremony and thought to himself, “I think I’ll strike a pose…”
This part of the ceremony was super special and symbolized the three of them becoming a family…
I don’t normally post formal family portraits on the blog, but I just had to because of how cute they all are together! I love it when we’re able to take family photos outside because of great natural lighting and awesome scenery. :-)
Reception time!
Can you guess who caught the bouquet?? ;-)
Please excuse my husband’s scary face. I’m working with him on becoming more ghetto. :-)
Amy & Aaron– We are so thankful to have been able to be a part of your day! You guys are awesome and we wish many blessings on your marriage and new little family!

Behind the scenes…
I laughed when I came across this picture… apparently I was showing this groomsmen my gangsta hand move. ;-)
