Maybe it’s the promise of sun and sand. Or maybe it’s the scenery change from corn fields and tractors. Or maybe it’s the palm trees. Definitely palm trees. There are so many things that excite me about going to the great state of Florida!

James and I are preparing to head south to do some super fun photo shoots and visit our family that live near Orlando. And of course, we’re planning on going to Disney World. :-) Haven’t been in over 20 years. That makes me feel old! So really, I’ll be seeing it for the first time because I definitely don’t remember anything about it. What am I most excited about? Going on a safari ride in Animal Kingdom!!!

I found this picture of me in Florida when I was little. My grandparents used to live there, so we frequented the Sunshine State a couple times a year. I am not surprised that I wasn’t afraid of the pelican. I’m pretty much the animal whisperer…
