I’m the type of person that when I find a really great product or service, I love to share it with my friends. Whether’s it’s a book I’ve read, knowledge I’ve learned from the amazing Dave Ramsey, or the fact that an electronic toothbrush works way more awesome than a regular toothbrush, I always like other people to know about the cool stuff I’ve found!

I know that I’ve casually mentioned Google Reader on here before, but if you regularly read blogs, you have GOT to check this service out! It allows you to go to one screen and see all of the recent posts from your favorite blogs! You can click over to a particular blog from there if you want, or you can choose to just read a post directly from the Reader– it’s awesome! Instead of looking up your favorite blogs each time you want to check them out or being disappointed when you go to one and there’s not a new post, Google Reader shows you all of the new posts that you haven’t read yet. It highlights them so that you know exactly where you left off each time you visit the site. Pretty clever, huh? The best part of it all is that it is completely FREE and they also have a cool mobile version!

In the screenshot below you can see that if you click on the red “Subscribe” box a window comes up. That’s where you’ll start adding the blogs that you want to follow. Once you’ve added them they’ll show up in the left hand column and you can even organize them into personalized lists (i.e. favorites, photography, design, wedding ideas, etc.).
