We met up with Diana and Jed at Appleworks for their fall engagement session. The weather was gorgeous for an October day and this couple looked just as good in front of the camera. This was our first time meeting Diana and Jed, and we had a great time getting to know each other during the shoot!

I strongly believe that engagement sessions are the single most important way to get to know a couple before their wedding day and also for them to get to know me. It really helps to ease any nerves that someone might have in front of the camera and it makes my job that much more smooth and efficient on the big day! Since 50% of my wedding clients book me without meeting in person, it also allows them to see that I’m not some crazy-weird-woman! (Ok, maybe just a little…) ;-)

They also brought along their adorable pup for a few photos!

I gotta give Jed credit for this one– he totally suggested using the crates! Good call, Jed. :-)

Oh, how I LOVE a nice piece of farm machinery.

P.S.- Diana: I know I probably told you about 5 times, but I want those boots!!! So cute.

This is absolute gorgeousness to me…. the light, the people, the love between them.
