Indianapolis Engagement | Erin + Dale

He led her into the small stone chapel lined with short wooden benches, where they prayed together and signed the guestbook noting they had visited the tiny chapel. Then he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife… she said yes. :-) We went back to that very chapel, surrounded by a stone wall and winding paths leading through a beautiful garden for Dale and Erin’s engagement shoot. I love it when a location means something special to a couple and can be incorporated into their pictures! It was so cool to imagine that special moment in the chapel and to capture them in a place that means so much to the two of them!

Here’s the little chapel…

And here’s the inside…

We even found where they signed their names in the guestbook on the day of their engagement!

Love it.

Erin, you are beautiful!

FAV!! This one = canvas.

We went down the road from the chapel to this abandoned shop, which totally turned out to be a jackpot location!

When Dale figured out that this truck was unlocked I got super excited! You’ll see why in these shots…

I walked around the corner of the shop and found this old car. Another score! The horse decided to join in the picture taking as well and took up a pose.

Ummm, HELLO!!!

You’ll be seeing more of these two soon, as their wedding is less than two months away!

  6. […] An outdoor wedding. In October. It’s risky. “We’ve been praying a lot!” was Erin and Dale’s response to the amazing weather. Despite the weather, these two would have had a perfect day […]
