Maybe if there hadn’t been so many people around on the boat he would have done it. Or maybe if he wasn’t feeling so queasy from swallowing what seemed like gallons of water while snorkeling. Either way, the ring that he had so carefully researched and picked out on his own stayed in his pocket. The timing wasn’t right.

They continued their day, exploring the island and enjoying a delicious dinner, but the timing still wasn’t right. Later that evening, as they walked along the beach he led her toward the dock. While standing over the water and taking in the gorgeous view, he knew the timing was right. Taking a deep breath, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. She said yes.

We are so excited to get to capture Reannon and Steve’s wedding this coming August! Despite the wind and somewhat chilly temps, their engagement session was a blast and we enjoyed getting to know them better. A big thanks to Reannon’s mom and sister for sending these two our way…

Ok, I have to explain… as we were shooting on the bridge two girls walked by with a boom box, yes a BOOM BOX is what I call it, and music blaring. It was like we had our own sound track, so of course Steve had to bust some moves. Luckily he had his “club” shirt on… Next time I’m bringing my own boom box and carrying it on my shoulder.

Oh, these two are so fun.
