Reannon & Steve’s wedding was at none other than the Indianapolis Zoo! The Indy Zoo has a beautiful garden area where all of the festivities took place. What until you see who their special greeter was…

Reannon and Steve’s first look was awesome to watch. He was pretty enamored with his bride…

Seriously people?? These two are like the modern day Barbie and Ken. :-)

That’s right folks, Reannon and Steve’s wedding guest greeter was none other than an ELEPHANT!! Who else can say they had that?? And what a mighty cute elephant she was. :-)

Since Reannon and Steve chose to see each other before the ceremony it allowed us to take most of the family photos and bridal party photos beforehand so that they could relax afterwards! I don’t normally post too many formal family portraits on the blog, but I want to show how awesome family photos can be when taken outside in natural lighting!! Even if you have an indoor ceremony you can still opt to take family pictures outside (weather permitting) or allow me to find an area inside your venue that has great natural lighting. Just want to throw that out there for future brides and grooms as an option. :-)

I’m kinda partial to bright pink and black… probably because they were my wedding colors too. ;-)

This goes to show the difference lighting can make at a reception! Brides and Grooms: If your venue doesn’t have a lighting specialist, consider hiring your own to help in creating a beautiful atmosphere like this one. :-)
