He didn’t realize when he walked into math class his freshman year of college that he would have eyed his future wife as he scoped out the girls. She thought he was cute, but didn’t realize she had met her future husband when they worked together in a small group on an in-class assignment.

Math was their unofficial introduction to each other, but it was a dorm party later that same night that made things official. With eyes only on each other, they danced the night away. The walk back to her dorm turned into a snowball fight and ended with a kiss on the cheek and plans to meet up at another party. Six weeks later their relationship became “official,” and now six years later they are committing to spend the rest of their lives with one another.

Kristen and Tom will be pledging their love to one another this August in a gorgeous ceremony at the Basilica at Notre Dame, their alma mater. I am honored to be a part of their special day and capture the start of their married lives together!

Meet Kristen and Tom…

We met up with these two in front of Tom’s old dorm on the Notre Dame campus. The day was gloomy and rain was looming in the distance; luckily it held off during the shoot and didn’t come pouring down until later that night. When James and I got home the next day we literally had a small pond in the yard!

 

If you didn’t notice already, Kristen is pretty much insanely gorgeous.

Since the campus is pretty big, a lot of people ride their bikes to and from class. Speaking of riding bikes, isn’t Spring supposed to be here any minute?!?

So fierce!

 

They did a little outfit change and showed us around other areas of the campus. The buildings are beautiful and I just love the old architecture.
