This wedding was one of most fun experiences I’ve had shooting a wedding! Although locals themselves, Lauren & Rob’s Daufuskie Island wedding was a destination affair for all of their guests who traveled into town for the big event. If you’ve never been to or heard of Daufuskie Island, it is located near Hilton Head Island, but it is ONLY accessible by boat. That in itself added to the adventure of the day! Once on the island, guests ride golf carts to navigate the winding paths through beautiful scenery.

The day started at Haig Point on Daufuskie Island, and then we traveled to the mainland for the ceremony. After things were official we headed back to Daufuskie to spend the rest of the evening celebrating Lauren & Rob! Go ahead and get ready to sit back and pretend like you’re on vacation!

Lauren’s bridesmaids made her a scrapbook– so sweet!

The flowers were so beautiful! Also, I love how the bridesmaid dresses can be worn for other occasions. One of the best trends in my opinion!

Lauren and Rob’s guest really knew how to break it down! One of my favorite things at a wedding is watching everyone dance at the reception. :-)
