Sara and Tyler’s wedding day was a long time in the making, as these two first started dating back in high school! Although they parted ways as she went to college and he left to join the army, they reconnected again and the rest is history. These two technically got married two years ago at the courthouse, so once Tyler got stationed closer to home they decided to have the wedding they never had while surrounded with their family and friends!

The ceremony and reception were at the National Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, just a short drive from downtown Savannah. Although there had been a lot of rain leading up to the ceremony, we ended up with clear, but overcast skies for the big day. These two were a lot of fun to work with and I enjoyed seeing their fun, playful side come out with one another! Here are a few of my favorites from their day…We were somewhat limited on a location for Sara and Tyler’s first look because so many of the sidewalks at the museum were flooded from all of the rain and the grass was soaking wet! I thought this memorial wall was fitting with Tyler’s service to our country. I just loooove having a long veil to play around with for shots with the bride and groom!Sara made for such a beautiful and happy bride!There were several sweet little ones at this wedding. It’s always so tricky to get kiddos to pose for pictures (candids are so much easier), but I love how sweet this shot turned out!Ohhhh man, this tiny baby was just precious!Tyler and Sara, thank you so much for having me document your special day! I loved working with y’all, as well as your sweet family and friends!
