Hello from beautiful and sunny Savannah, GA!!! I can’t believe we are finally here, moved in, and beginning to get settled– it seemed like such a far off thing in my head for the past couple of months! The last three weeks or so have been an absolute whirlwind. Actually, that would be an understatement, but I don’t know what’s greater than a whirlwind. :-)
Since the beginning of this month, we cleaned out our house in Indiana, had lots of “see-you-later” get togethers with friends, had final baby appointments with our old doctor, were the recipients of two baby showers (one the day before we left to come down here), made the 11 hour drive from Greenwood with 3 cats in tow (which turned into more like a 15 hour drive for various reasons), waited for our moving truck to arrive, moved into our new place (which is only about 1/4 of the way unpacked), and James led his first weekend of worship at our new church. Whew!
When James left to go into work on Monday was the first time I had to actually sit down and just breathe. Not that there’s been much sitting going on since I’m on somewhat of a schedule to get the house unpacked before the baby comes (don’t worry, I’m not lifting anything heavy), but I’m at least at a point where I feel much more relaxed. :-) I’m enjoying setting up the new place and getting to know my way around the area. And I won’t lie– we are absolutely LOVING the weather here in “winter!”
I’ll be working on business “stuff” on more of a part-time basis until the baby comes (only about 7 more weeks until my due date) so that we can get the house completely set up and make sure we have everything we need for the little bambino (finally just ordered the crib, now on to finding a glider). I’m excited to “re-start” my business down here and see all of the cool opportunities that being in a new place (with a new landscape) provides!
Since a post wouldn’t be a post without some photos, I thought I’d share my most recent preggo photos… just a little bit of a climate difference between the two. :-)
Here are a few shots from our first week in Savannah…
We are just loving this city so far and can’t wait to get out and explore more!

Hi Jenna!
I love all of your pics, great work! Actually this email has nothing to do w pictures lol My family and I are considering relocating to Savannah from Cincinnati. I have been trying to do a lot of research. When I “googled” Cincinnati v Savannah your blog popped up. Anyways I am reaching out just to see if you have any helpful advice for us? As I’m sure you experienced, if we make this move it will be a BIG change for us. Sorry if this message sounds crazy I am just trying to get as much info as I can!
Thank you,
Kirby O’Brien
