When I first found out that Sarah was engaged I was SO excited for her. We’ve been friends since freshman year of high school and when I add up the years since we first met (13 to be exact) that starts to make me feel old!! I feel like it was just the other day that we were in Student Council homeroom, doing police ride-a-longs (that’s a story in itself), and having car wars with our guy friends. :-)

This was the first time I got to actually meet KC in person and I can definitely say that these two are a perfect match! It was so fun to hang out with them for an evening at Sarah’s family farm and see the two of them together. Now I am even more pumped to shoot their wedding this August!

Cool Story #1: This bridge is where KC proposed to Sarah on Thanksgiving Day. :-)

Cool Story #2: The next three shots below were shot from a row boat in the water! I have never been more nervous in my life to get into a boat (since I had my camera gear with me) and I thought we were going in every time James moved in the boat. Luckily, we did not. ;-)

Um yes, Sarah is gorgeous. I cannot wait to see her as a bride. :-)

And I’ll end with KC’s infamous “Grinch” face. Hopefully he doesn’t mind me sharing, but when you can make a face like that I’m pretty sure you have to share it. ;-)
