It’s that time of year when the locals around here head out to the nearby berry patches and pick some fresh strawberries! Jack and I have visited a couple of patches in the past few weeks, and have another one or two on our list to visit before the season ends. Believe it or not, our trip to the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens was actually my first time to ever pick strawberries! Jack is at the perfect age to start this tradition and had a blast picking the berries and running up and down the rows. We are looking forward to the blackberries and blueberries being ready in the coming weeks!

After we picked strawberries we headed over to the beautiful gardens and took a look around. They are gradually adding to the gardens and will have even more available to the public in the coming years.
