I’ve been contemplating sharing this photo for a while because, well, it documents one of the funniest moments of my life. During my senior year of high school, our Student Council Executive Board got together at our advisor’s house for a Christmas Party. Our advisor wanted to get a group picture of us, and we, being the mature high school students that we were, thought it would be funny if we all sat on her bed for the picture (obviously a good idea).

She was a good sport and went along with it, not realizing that right at the very moment she would snap the picture, the whole entire bed would collapse! There was about 16 of us total (a couple of people are on the floor), and if I remember correctly, we laid there in a big heap laughing hysterically until we could breathe enough to apologize for breaking the bed. Luckily for us, she wasn’t upset and thought it was pretty funny too. :-)

Being that it was a disposable film camera, we didn’t actually see the results until days later (this was back in the olden days before digital cameras). EVERY time I come across this picture it makes me laugh (laughing right now). If you couldn’t figure it out, the white arrow is pointing towards yours truly. And yes, that would be my hand grabbing one person’s head and choking another person’s neck… at least I watch out for those around me. ;-)
