I’m not normally one of those people who posts “TGIF” every Friday morning on Facebook because, well, I love my job and I generally feel pretty relaxed throughout the week! While Fridays are sometimes an “off” day for me, I’m often gearing up for a wedding the following day during peak season. I love the freedom I have in running my own business (being able to go grocery shopping on a weekday morning when the store’s not crowded, working in my PJ’s, petting my cats throughout the day, etc.), but my “weekends” aren’t usually the same as everyone else’s.

However, this was one of those weeks where when I woke up today I actually thought, Thank God it’s Friday!!!! A lot of work and a lot of planning had to get done this week and the combination of it all began to overwhelm me. I started feeling stressed, which thankfully doesn’t happen to me very often.

I’m thankful it’s Friday for two reasons:

1) I can start fresh on Monday. If I ever get to a point of feeling stressed/overwhelmed, the start of a new week is so refreshing to me. New to-do lists, a clean slate, a Sunday afternoon nap under my belt, and I’m ready to go!

2) I am so excited for tomorrow’s wedding!! The location is super cool (no I’m not spilling the beans yet) and the couple is even cooler. :-)

And because a post isn’t a post without a picture, I thought I’d share an image of James’ cousin, Jason, and his beautiful family! We got to hang out with these guys a couple of weeks ago and I can’t believe how big little Haddie has gotten!
