This past weekend I got to work with Kelsey & Kyle on their beautiful wedding at The Mackey House here in Savannah, GA. Although we had had several cold, rainy days leading up to their big day, we were blessed with absolutely gorgeous weather for an outdoor wedding in January!

The day they had traveled into town for their engagement session months prior had been a dreary, rainy day, so I was afraid they would think we only ever had rain in Savannah, which is definitely not the case! Of course the day right after their wedding we were back to chilly temps (well, at least chilly for us in the deep South). :-)

This was a destination affair for Kelsey, Kyle, their families and friends. I get a lot of those each year and I think that is such a fun way to do a wedding– it’s like a vacation for everyone! Anyone who has planned their wedding from a distance knows that it can be somewhat of a challenge, but luckily Kelsey had her big sister to take over most of the planning for her.

This wedding had the cutest little ring bearers and flower girl!

The Mackey House has a great set-up to allow you to get a photo of everyone who came to your wedding. I love that!

Kelsey’s mom definitely wins the award for best Mother-0f-the-Bride dancer! She was awesome!!!! Probably also helps that she teaches Zumba. :-)
