1) Whole Grain Cheez-Its: I’ve always been a big Cheeze-It fan, but when I discovered the Whole Grain version of the snack, it took my liking to a whole new level. James can attest to the fact that these Cheez-Its actually taste cheesier than the regular kind! I initially bought them because of the whole-grainness, so the fact that they are better tasting is an added plus. :-)
2) Support for Haiti Mission Trip: If you saw my post about going on a mission trip to Haiti, then you already know that we have been raising support for the trip that we’ll be going on in March. We have been so blessed by the donations that we have received so far, and are trusting that God will provide the amount needed to go on the trip. I get excited every day that I go to the mailbox and find another envelope from a friend or family member! We are SO very thankful for the financial and prayer support from everyone.
3) Christmas Ornaments: Every year after Christmas we put away what we think are all of the Christmas decorations, only to find ornaments pop up around the house every so often thanks to a cat that has secretly hidden one under a couch or behind a desk! I found this one today and I’m guessing there’s still several more hiding out…
4) WPPI PreBoard Passes: WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) is the largest organization in the world for wedding and portrait photographers. Next month they are hosting their annual tradeshow and convention in Las Vegas where thousands of photogs will gather to network, check out gear and products, and learn from some of the most amazingly talented photographers from around the world. James and I are pumped to get to attend for the first time!!
One of the cool things that they are doing this year is allowing you to pick up to 5 platform classes in advance that you want to go to. Apparently in years past people would begin to line up for classes 1-2 hours in before the start time and sometimes would not make it inside before the room was full. To avoid this from happening you can get a “preboard” pass that allows you to get in the class before the doors open for everyone else. Score! The speakers we are planning to hear are: bobbi + mike, Jasmine Star, Jerry Ghionis, Bambi Cantrell, and Jose Villa. These are some of my absolute favorite photographers and I cannot wait to hear what they have to say!
5) My Grandma Slippers: In the wintertime I have to have something on my feet when I’m walking around the house. Last year I bought these slippers at Walmart on sale for $3 and have worn them every day in cold weather. Yea, they’re worn in, staring to rip apart, and look like they should be on an 80-year old woman’s feet, but I love them. I’m thinking it’s about time to invest in new pair though…
Hope you’re having a great start to your week!

You’ve inspired me to get my Granny slippers on. I’ll be going to Walmart tomorrow. We do need them here in FL, too. :) Have you tried the new Pepper Jack Cheez-It’s? Mmmm! I’ll be trying the whole grain pronto! Love your favs. The Haiti stuff is the BEST!
I haven’t tried Pepper Jack, but I will have to do that! I do also love the white cheddar– yummmmm. Get some cool granny slippers. :-)
