Tybee Island Wedding Chapel | Caroline & Brady

After taking a little break this summer for our move to Statesboro, I jumped back into the Fall wedding season this past weekend with Caroline and Brady’s wedding on Tybee Island! While the temperature was absolutely perfect, the rain that was forecasted for most of the day didn’t let up for much of our shooting time. I’m always up for a challenge though, and this crew was ready to do whatever needed to still get some awesome photos, so we ended up having a great day!

The girls started off the getting ready portion of the day at a beach house on Tybee. We had gorgeous views of the island while they prepped for the day. And the covered porches on the rental house came in clutch for outdoor photos once it started raining!

Beyond Beautiful by Heather was on hand to get the girls looking glamorous! She always does SUCH a great job with hair and make-up.

I am in love with the beautiful ring box Caroline brought along to hold her rings! The blue was just so stunning and really brought together her wedding colors for her detail shots.

ROBES. That’s all I can say. Such a great gift for the bridesmaids and a fun item to have after the wedding day! Etsy is always a great place to look for personalized items like these!

These flower girls were just the cutest! And Caroline looked so radiant in her dress!!

LOVE. One of my favorite shots from the day. :-)

Brady was so calm and collected while he was getting ready!

The wedding party were absolute troopers while we grabbed their photos! It had been raining basically all day and we were running out of time to get shots of the guys, so I found a way to shoot the guys in natural lighting, while I stood out in the rain shooting with an umbrella overhead (hence why you can see raindrops in some of the photos)! But it worked and the guys looked so handsome!

First look vibes…

I love it that Caroline and Brady were still game to go down to the beach after their ceremony for portraits as we had previously planned! We started out with umbrellas over everyone (video crew was with us as well), but the wind got to be too much as we got closer to the ocean. We ended up ditching the umbrellas and just deciding that we would all get a little wet! After a few minutes the rain subsided and we just had crazy wind. It may not have been the weather we had be hoping for, but it ended up making for some gorgeous shots!!

Caroline’s dress blowing in the wind was every photographer’s dream. :-)

The reception set up at the Wedding Chapel is always so pretty. First City Events did an excellent job coordinating the day and pulling everything together to look beautiful! Fete Chalet also had their adorable trailer set up to serve drinks outside, which was so fun!

The Emerald Empire band was poppin’ all evening and the guests had a blast dancing the night away!

I can fully appreciate the Georgia Southern University pride now that we live in Statesboro!

Such a great day! Caroline and Brady, congrats on finally getting hitched!! Thanks for having me along to capture your big day!!!!
