Lyle is the campus pastor at our church, and his wife Rachel has become a dear friend of mind over the past two years that we have lived in Savannah (well technically just outside of it). They have the cutest little boy, Charlie, who is just a few months younger than Jack, so it is fun to have the two of them together!

It was quite chilly on the evening of their shoot, but the sun was gorgeous, so we worked fast and made it happen! Charlie is at such a fun age right now of discovery and exploration, but as many of you know, one and a half year old’s don’t exactly have photo shoots on their to-do list. :-) Luckily I’ve had a little practice with a feisty one year old of my own (who just happens to be sitting in my lap right now, “helping”). Here are a few of my favorites from our quick shoot!

For those of you wondering about family sessions, I decided to take on a small amount of them this year, and I’m glad I did. :-) After adding our own addition to our family last year, it just made me appreciate the value of family photos so much more! While I still primarily shoot weddings and engagement sessions, I will again take on a limited group of families for 2015.
