I love working with families who come to the area for vacation at the beach, whether at Tybee Island or Hilton Head Island! I really can’t complain about getting to work barefoot in the sand. :-) It’s such a special time to be able to gather with your siblings, parents, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, etc. and make memories together in a beautiful place!

This particular family got together to celebrate their parents’/grandparents’ 50th anniversary, so of course we had to do a shot to represent that! We then headed down to the beach to grab images of the whole family, individual families, kids, couples, etc. I like to do a mix of combinations when working with an extended family group. And I always to make sure to get the “safe” shots of everyone looking at the camera and smiling, but my fav ones are always the more candid/fun/authentic shots!It’s such a special thing to be able to celebrate being married for 50 years!!! And what a great example for their children and grandchildren.Y’all this baby is a straight doll baby. SO STINKIN’ CUTE. Families with two boys always have a special place in my heart. I start to think about my boys as they get older and instantly want to keep them little! Haha.These kids were so sweet. I loved watching the older two dote on younger sis. :-) See what I mean about her straight up being a doll??? This is always a fun shot to get of the whole fam! Looooove when I find driftwood on the beach. All of the grandchildren together! These are always such special shots, especially when the individual families live spread out across the country. I always get asked where I live in relation to the beach… the short answer is, slightly northwest of Savannah, Georgia. I’m about an hour from both Tybee and Hilton Head. I frequent both beaches and love getting to shoot at either one!
