October was a busy month around our household and it seems to be that way every Fall! I kicked off the month 2nd shooting a wedding with Amanda Pair, here in Savannah, then traveled back to Indianapolis to shoot my final wedding there for the year. It was a great trip, as we got to spend time with my parents in Cincinnati, and visit with many of our friends in Indy! That trip was Jack’s FOURTH round trip that he has made in the past 4 months and he did awesome! I’m going to have to do a post soon about flying with a baby, as I’ve had several people ask me about it. :-)

At the beginning of the month Jack turned 7 months and I felt like we really saw a lot of changes in him throughout October (I probably think that every month). He can now sit unassisted very well, scoots backwards and around in circles (still no crawling yet), and loves to stand up and hold on to things. He also decided over the past few weeks that he no longer likes pureed food (or eating off of a spoon for that matter), but eats finger foods like it’s his job and has gotten very good with self-feeding. He finally figured out how to drink out of the sippy cup and that may just be his favorite thing to do at mealtime!

Last week we took part in the Country Carnival that our church puts on every year, which is where our photo for this month is from. We had a great time!
