This past weekend James and I had the opportunity to get away with friends and go on a fun camping trip at Lieber SRA. We don’t have many free weekends throughout the summer months, so when we do we are sure to take full advantage of them!

We had a blast cooking out, talking around the campfire, and spending time out on the lake. I came home looking like a lobster (fail on my part for waiting too long to put my sunscreen on), super sore from water skiing (I may or may not have done the splits a couple of times), and still laughing about things that happened (don’t worry, I’m not going to embarrass anyone). ;-)

I love taking detail pictures when I go on a trip so that I can remember exactly what my surroundings were like. When I look through pictures later on, I feel like I’m right back in that moment. Here’s a little bit of what the weekend looked like…

If you’re wondering about the last set of pictures, one night we decided to do some light writing with flashlights, the fire, and a super slow shutter speed on the camera. Pretty cool, huh?
