One thing that I love about living near the beach is getting to shoot wedding and portrait sessions on the beach!! I love being near the ocean and feeling that ocean breeze in my hair! Plus, there’s nothing better than working with your shoes off. :-)

Speaking of breeze in my hair, this particular wedding day had a whole LOT of that going on!! Julianne and Tip had beautiful sunshine on their big day, but it also happened to be incredibly windy throughout the affair. They handled it like pros though and just enjoyed being with one another and the company of their guests!

The wedding ceremony took place right on the beach in the Palmetto Dunes Resort located in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We then moved just a few steps off the beach to the Dunes House for the reception! The Dunes House is a great spot for a beach wedding, as it allows you to have an outdoor reception on the big deck, literally right on the beach! They also have an indoor room that can be used to house your cake and host your cocktail hour. And if the weather gets a little chilly or windy you can move to the inside room to warm up!

These two were just so cute and sweet with one another at their First Look! I loved the foot brush idea for the guests as they came up off the beach from the ceremony! Too cute and fun to use. :-) Such a beautiful scene! I absolutely LOVE this beautiful blush color that the bridesmaids wore! Here you see that wind I was telling you about; made for a beautiful image though! After the ceremony was done, Julianne took her flower girl down to the water to throw her flower petals in the ocean!You just can’t beat that beautiful beach lighting as the sun starts to go down! Cheers to the happy couple!
