I so excited to share Courtney and Rob’s beautiful Savannah wedding on the blog today! You may remember these two from their engagement session at Wormsloe Historic site. If you haven’t had a chance to check that out, you can do so here!
Courtney and Rob were married under the oak trees in downtown Savannah’s beautiful Warren Square before celebrating with friends and family over at the Georgia State Railroad Museum! Tammie from Two Chicks and a Trunk did a wonderful job with all of the planning and coordination of the day. She always knows how to make a wedding so stylish and romantic!
There were so many great images from this wedding that it was hard to choose, but I finally narrowed down to some of my favorites…
Courtney kept her hair swept back in a simple, yet elegant way. I love the addition of flowers added in her updo! We had such a beautiful day for a wedding! The sun was out and the temperature was just perfect. I love this set up that greeted guests as they arrived for the ceremony. These ring bearers were the absolute CUTEST. They initially had a little bit of a struggle getting the wagon going, but once they got the hang of it they stole the show! The emotions were flowing when Courtney came down the aisle! I always love seeing a groom’s reaction when he sees his beautiful bride for the first time, whether walking down the aisle or in a First Look.If this setting for a wedding ceremony doesn’t say “Savannah,” then I don’t know what does! I absolutely love ceremonies in the downtown squares. I absolutely adore this photo of Rob and Courtney with their sweet little man. He is just beyond adorable!! Courtney looked absolutely stunning on her big day! And Rob was looking quite handsome himself! The reception set up at the Georgia State Railroad Museum was so elegant, yet cozy! I love the architecture of the venue paired with the string lights and candlelit tables. It’s like something out of another world! So pretty. I love that they incorporated a S’mores bar on their dessert table! There was a fire pit set up outside where guests could roast marshmallows during the reception. Such a cute idea and fun activity! This may just be my favorite shot of the day. :-) Nothing like a good cake smash in the face! I always think it’s interesting to watch couples to see if they are going to feed each other the cake very gently or completely go for it. These guys went for it! Lol. Courtney and Rob, I wish you both the very best as you begin your married lives together! It was such a pleasure working with y’all and your families!!
